On Thursday 21st March, I attended an EDGE lecture to watch Catherine Wignall's talk.
Catherine is a screen-writer in Los Angeles.
The headmaster, Brendan Wignall, interviewed her about how her career developed from being at school doing GCSE's, then IB, and then heading onto university.
It was a very interesting and inspiring talk, and I have learned a lot about the industry and how difficult it is, but she always said that if you want to get somewhere, then it is important to put in the hard work.
